Raymond's extensive community involvement speaks to his dedication to fostering a welcoming place for all, and I believe his commitment to uplifting students and ability to meet goals will serve our campus well." - Carinna K. "Evelyn is a slay and has helped me connect with not only other marginalized students on campus but also with my own Latinidad. YASSSSS" - Lu M. '24
"Raymond always delivered, I worked with him on DMC Board and I gotta say that he is really on top of his work, open-minded, and very creative with new ideas." - Nhan H. '23

"Raymond is a highly dedicated and hard-working individual who is extremely passionate about working with others. I have seen him organize events, such as the upcoming Block Party, and the immense work he puts into ensuring it can be as successful as possible. He truly enjoys doing what he does which is why he excels at it. Raymond is also one of the most compassionate and selfless people I have met and know I can always count on him, and so can you." - Jenny L. '24

"I, Leslie Ramirez, endorse both Raymond Diaz and Evelyn Magdelano as next year's President and Vice President, respectively. Both candidates have been leaders on campus since the beginning of their college careers; these two will enter their positions ready to put the student body first by advocating for transparency between the SGA and everyone else. Both candidates have had their fair share of struggles by being first-generation Mexican-Americans and so they know exactly what needs to be done on campus as well as the disparity between first-gens and non-first-gens. Raymond and Evelyn’s initiatives show great promise as both are heavily involved on campus and are no strangers to how clubs, activities, etc. run here. I trust that these two will bring about fruitful change next year and I look forward to supporting them along the way." - Leslie R. '25
"Evelyn is a hard worker, has a good ability to communicate, and considers multiple point of views. I am confident that she will serve the student body in a way that emphasizes inclusion and equity on our campus."- Jamie S. '24
"As the Vice President of Distinguished Men of Color, I got to see Raymond's leadership style. He had the perfect mix of an inviting personality and an extremely organized one as well. I knew from the jump that Raymond was dedicated to creating a close and active community on campus, and I'm certain he'll do the same as SGA President. This is why I endorse Raymond Diaz for the position of SGA President." - Mead G.
"I believe Raymond Diaz is a great candidate for SGA president. I have worked with Raymond through DMC, PALANA and him being my RA. In each position Raymond has shown great leadership and always made sure he was a helping hand. As my RA Raymond helped me discover my community on campus and made me feel comfortable in a PWI institute. Additionally through DMC he has shown great leadership organizing small and big events like the DMC block party. He has been able to communicate properly and organize the block party, an event that involves 9 different organizations. Overall I believe Raymond shows great leadership and ambition to help the school become a more inclusive and safe space." - Cristopher S.
